Remove Water Temperature Regulator (Industrial Engine)
1. Drain the coolant from the engine into a suitable container for storage or disposal.2. Disconnect the radiator hose from the regulator housing. 3. Remove the two bolts that hold elbow (1) to regulator housing (2), and move the elbow away from the regulator housing.4. Remove the bolts that hold regulator housing (2) to the cylinder head, and remove the regulator housing. 5. Remove water temperature regulator (3) from the regulator housing (2). 6. Remove seal (4) from regulator housing (2).Install Water Temperature Regulator (Industrial Engine)
1. Use Tool (A) to install the seal in regulator housing (1) with the lip of the seal down. Put clean oil on the lip of the seal. 2. Install water temperature regulator (2) in regulator housing (1).3. Put the gasket and regulator housing (1) in position on the cylinder head, and install the bolts. 4. Put the gasket and elbow (3) in position on regulator housing (1), and install the bolts that hold it.5. Connect the radiator hose to the regulator housing.6. Fill the engine with coolant to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual.
