AllThe factory password system has been changed when requesting factory passwords for changing Full Load Setting (FLS) and the Full Torque Setting (FTS).Effective 16February 2008 Caterpillar Electrical technician (Cat ET) version 2007B or newer will be required for requesting factory passwords for changing the FLS and FTS. The correct version of Cat ET will also be required for the input of the numbers for the FLS and FTS into the Engine Control Module (ECM). The FLS and FTS must be entered into the input screen before the passwords will be provided. No factory password for FLS or FTS will be issued if the proper version of Cat ET is not used.
