This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3948" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3948" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Although this Program is to be administered as described above on the Affected Product, parts should be removed from Parts Stock as soon as possible.

The 1162155 Manifold needs to be inspected and/or replaced on certain 980G Wheel Loaders. The 1162155 Manifold, used in the lines group - tilt cylinder, may have an internal wall that is too thin. This wall may rupture (see Illustration 1), leading to bucket drift. Also, a film should be installed in the machines Implement Control Group.

Rework Procedure
1. Relieve system hydraulic pressure per the 980G Service Manual.2. Inspect the 1162155 Manifold per Illustration 2.3. Only if needed, replace the manifold with new manifold.4. Install the 1415796 Film as shown in Illustration 3.
