Disconnect reverse EDC (13) at the connector. Mark the connector for identification. Note: The A332-YL wire and the H861-PU wire are connected to the reverse EDC connector for the left propel pump. Disconnection of the EDC connector will cause a fault to appear in the monitoring system when the machine is started. After this procedure is completed, the fault will no longer be active.
Disconnect forward EDC (14) at connector. Mark the connector for identification. Note: The 335-BR wire and the H861-PU wire are connected to the forward EDC connector for the left propel pump. Disconnection of the EDC connector will cause a fault to appear in the monitoring system when the machine is started. After this procedure is completed, the fault will no longer be active.
Move engine start switch (8) to the START position. Release the engine start switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes.
Move throttle control switch (3) to the HIGH IDLE position twice. For each switch actuation, hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2200 rpm.
Read the pressure on the gauge in port "M4" (11) . Read the pressure on the gauge in port "M5" (12) . The pressures should agree within 130 kPa (14.5 psi). If the pressures agree within specification, go to Step 26. If the pressures differ beyond specification, go to Step 23.
