Description of Change: The water connection group has been improved on the above engines. The new design provides a better seating surface for the O-ring seal that goes between the thermostat and the housing. The new style of water connection group allows the engine to reach the correct operating temperature in a shorter period of time.Adaptable To: The part number 162-0234 Water Connection Gp did not change. The improved water connection group is made out of a composite material. The original water connection group was made of aluminum. The improved water connection group is adaptable to all earlier models of the above listed engines.
