PROBLEM
The existing Radar Enclosure Radar Carrier can return excess energy on certain 834K Wheel Dozers and 988K Wheel Loaders. If the existing Radar Enclosure Radar Carrier fails it will cause the Object Detection system to generate false detections when no object is present in the coverage area.

ACTION REQUIRED
The improved holder addresses issues where the radar could generate false detections when no object was present in the field of view with the radar adjusted properly. A false detection can be either constant or intermittent. The false detection will a stop level or "5 bar" alarm. The false detection will usually no longer be present with the removal of the enclosure cover for troubleshooting purposes.
1. Install the 461-6603 in each Radar Enclosure following the procedure listed in REHS9150.
2. Adjust the Radar Enclosure angles and azimuths as required to align with the values listed in UENR1274.
3. Update to 457-9075 Software or latest available on SIS Web if not previously completed. Refer to Service Magazine, SEPD1805, "New Software is Now Used for all Cat Object Detection and Vision Applications On Certain Cat Products"
