3. Perform an injector leak off test, in order to verify injector performance.
Refer to KENR6938, Special Instruction, "High Leakoff of the Electronic Unit Injector".
Record leak off rate within the claim story.
- If the amount collected is less than the limit, end the test. No further action is required.
- If amount collected is greater than the limit, install a new set of injectors, high-pressure fuel tubes, fuel pressure sensor and fuel rail.
Replacement of high-pressure tubes, injectors, fuel pressure sensor and fuel rail.
1. Refer to KENR6081, Disassembly and Assembly manual for the for procedures, as necessary.
2. Replace the existing high-pressure tubes, injectors, fuel pressure sensor and fuel rail.
3. On completion of the rework, check to ensure that all of the connections are leak free.
