Introduction
Replacement door window assemblies for the above model Backhoe Loaders will require modification to be an exact replacement.The new series door window assemblies use a socket and plunger arrangement to hold the windows open.To use the new series window assemblies in the older units, a rod will have to be fabricated and welded to the window frame.Reference: Service Manual and Parts Manual.Installation
1. Cut a 131.5 mm (5.18") length of 6 mm (0.24") diameter rod. 2. Bend the rod to fabricate a loop to the dimensions in the above illustration.

Left Hand Window Assembly Shown.3. Position the loop on the window assembly at the dimensions in the above illustrations. Dimensions are the same for right hand and left hand window assemblies.4. Weld the loop using a 1.5 mm (0.059") bevel weld.5. Clean and paint the area that was welded.6. Install the window assembly.
