Use Tooling (C) to install the master pin assembly (2) into the track links.Note: The pin should protrude 2.20 mm (0.09 inch) from the outer face of the track link. Note: When you install the master pin assembly the orientation of crosshole (6) in the assembly is critical to prevent possible failure of the pin. See Illustration 5. There is a mark on the end of the pin in order to indicate the location of the crosshole. Insert the lubricator tip on the grease gun into rubber stopper (7) and fill the pin with 161-9203 5% Molybdenum grease .Note: Approximately 50 pumps from a manual grease gun may be required in order to fill the pin with grease.
Install plug (1) into rubber stopper (7). See Illustrations 1 and 5.
