Remove bolts (2) from cover (1) . Position cover (1) out of the way.

Attach a suitable lifting device to air inlet manifold (6) . The weight of air inlet manifold (6) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb). Remove bolts (3) , (4) , and (5) .

Remove bracket (10) . Remove bolts (7) . Remove elbows (8) and (11) . Remove the gaskets and connector (9) with the air inlet manifold.

Remove air inlet manifold (6) .
Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device to air inlet manifold (6) . The weight of air inlet manifold (6) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb). Position air inlet manifold (6) .
Position the gaskets, connector (9) , and elbows (8) and (11) . Install bolts (7) .Note: Ensure that there is 3.0 mm (0.12 inch) clearance between the air inlet manifolds, elbow (9) , and the tubes coming out of the aftercooler. The clearance between the air inlet manifolds and the tubes coming out of the aftercooler are in order to prevent rubbing.Note: When elbows (8) and (11) are connected. Ensure that there is 1mm spacing between elbow (8) and connector (9) . Ensure that there is 1 mm (0.04 inch) spacing between elbow (11) and connector (9) .

Install bolts (4) into air inlet manifold (6) . Install bolt (3) . Install bolts (5) . Remove the suitable lifting device.

Position cover (1) for the harness assembly on the air inlet manifold. Install bolts (2) .
Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.
