Equipped With Air ConditioningNew reverse flow fans are available, through parts service, for the air conditioning units shown above. The standard fans draw air from under the cab and blow it out through the condenser. In some applications, such as landfill work, trash can get blown into the condenser. This requires frequent cleaning to maintain operation efficiency. When reverse flow fans are used, air is blown in the opposite direction. This makes plugging of the condenser less likely.
Two new 7T1058 Fans can be used to replace the two standard 3P7995 Fans. The new 7T1058 Fans are 25.4 mm (1") larger than the standard 3P7995 Fans. The fan shrouds may have to be cut slightly to provide clearance for the larger fans. Do not cut the fan blades.
