2. Remove bolt (1), the washers and nut (2) that hold the rod end of the leveling blade cylinder to the leveling blade assembly. 3. Using a wire tie, fasten the rod end of the leveling blade cylinder to the bottom of the cleaner bar assembly as shown. This will prevent the cylinder from rotating upward when the leveling blade assembly is removed. 4. Put wood blocks under each arm of the blade assembly to hold it up.5. Remove two bolts (3), the washers and the nuts that hold the leveling blade assembly to the yoke.6. Start the machine, and back it away from the leveling blade assembly. The weight of the leveling blade assembly is 354 kg (780 lb). 7. Remove bushing (4) from the leveling blade assembly. 8. Remove pin (5) from each arm of the leveling blade assembly. 9. Remove two rings (6) and bearing (7) from each arm of the leveling blade assembly. The following steps are for the installation of the leveling blade assembly.
Do not reuse the elastic filled stop nuts during installation of the leveling blade assembly. The used nuts should be discarded and replaced with new parts.
10. Install the leveling blade assembly in the reverse order of removal. After completing the installation, lubricate the pivot joints and the rod end of the leveling blade cylinder.
