(1) Action lamp indicator (2) Secondary steering indicatorThe action lamp indicator (1) illuminates when the machine has a serious issue that requires the attention of the operator. The action lamp will flash whenever there is a level 2 or level 3 event in any of the machine systems.The secondary steering indicator (2) illuminates red when the primary steering system has an active diagnostic fault. This indicator will also illuminate amber when the optional secondary steering system is activated.The Caterpillar Monitoring System will perform a self test of the optional secondary steering pump and electric motor right after engine start-up. The alert indicator will come on for 3 seconds in order to verify the pressurization of the secondary steering system. The action alarm will sound until the end of the self test or until the engine is started.Secondary Steering Indicator (2) will be amber in color when the optional secondary steering system is active or is being tested. The alert indicator will be red in color when a problem with the secondary steering system exists.If the machine is equipped with the optional secondary steering attachment, immediately steer the machine to a stop when a Warning Category 3 is indicated.
