Possibility of mechanical brake failure and machine down time due to a damaged or cut outer seal. The damage to the seal may occur during the assembly process. The seal is on the brake piston between the brake housing and the hystat motor.Solution
Use the following steps to inspect the seal.

Inspect 8T-6378 Ring Seal (1) on 3W-5451 Piston, looking for any wear marks near the output hole on 239-4478 Housing.
If there are marks on seal (1), replace the seal with a new one.

On housing (2) inspect the output hole and deburr any rough edges.
Replace any other damaged components. Reassemble the brake assembly.
