The article that follows has updated part numbers.Description of Change: Due to the advances in the bearing manufacturing process and increased commonality between engine families, the new copper lead main and connecting rod bearings are now available for all new and remanufactured 3500 diesel machine engines.The new copper lead bearings can help improve resistance to cavitation in applications prone to extensive cavitation.Adaptable To: Tables 1, 2, and 3 list the available copper lead bearing part numbers. The aluminum zinc bearings are still available for order and use in these engine applications.Note: Copper lead bearings are not suitable for use in 3500 gas engines.
