1. Remove the scraper rear cover plate - weight 130 lbs. (60 kg).2. Block the ejector floor to prevent movement during removal and installation of the cylinder.3. Disconnect all hydraulic lines from the ejector floor cylinder. 4. Install tool setup (A), a piece of pipe (1) with a 3 in. inside diameter by 8 in. long and a suitable spacer (2). Remove the cylinder rod-end retaining pin. The ejector cylinder is removed for illustrative purposes only. It is not necessary to remove the ejector cylinder in order to remove the ejector floor cylinder. 5. Attach a hoist to the cylinder and remove the head-end retaining pin.6. Remove the ejector floor cylinder - weight 175 lbs. (80 kg).Install Ejector Floor Cylinder
1. Attach a hoist and position the ejector floor cylinder in the scraper. 2. Install the cylinder head-end retaining pin.3. Connect the hydraulic lines to the cylinder.4. Start the engine and extend or retract the rod as necessary to position rod for pin installation. Install the rod-end retaining pin.5. Install the scraper rear cover plate.
