Typical Example1. Remove bolt (1) and open access door (2). 2. Remove bolts (3) and plate (4).
Make sure all of the pressure is released from the air system before disconnecting any the air lines. Failure to release the pressure can cause the air to release rapidly when the lines are disconnected and could cause personal injury.
View underneath tractor on left side in front of cab.3. Open bleed valves (5) to release the air in the air tanks. 4. Disconnect four air lines (5) from the two air tanks.5. Disconnect crossover line (8) between the two air tanks.6. Remove nuts (6) and mounting brackets (7) that secure the air tanks to the machine. The following steps are for the installation of the air tank.7. Clean all of the components of the air tank and mating components before you install the air tank. 8. Position the air tank to the machine frame. Install the mounting bracket (7) and nuts (6).9. Connect crossover line (8) to its original locations on the air tank.10. Connect four lines (5) to the two air tanks.11. Close bleed valves (5) on the air tanks. 12. Install plate (4) and bolts (3).
