Installation Procedure
Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

Install the shims and roller (2) to the ejector. Install nut (1) in order to secure roller (2) to the ejector.

Attach lifting chains and a hoist to the ejector. Raise the ejector in order to remove the cribbing under the ejector.

Move the ejector toward the rear of the scraper bowl. Align the rollers with the track assemblies. Remove the tooling from the ejector.

Attach a nylon lifting strap and a hoist to the ejector cylinder. Remove the cribbing from the ejector cylinder. Position the ejector cylinder to the ejector. Use a soft faced hammer to install pin (3) to the ejector cylinder. Install bar (2) and two bolts (1) in order to secure pin (3) in the ejector cylinder. Remove the tooling from the ejector cylinder.
Adjust the rollers. Refer to Specifications, RENR1457 for information on adjusting the rollers.
