Power Train Torque Strategy is only active in first gear. The system is continuously monitoring the pressure of the lift cylinder at the head end, and the torque converter ratio. The system uses these two variables to estimate the torque of the power train. When the system determines that the torque of the power train is at a damaging level, the system will adjust the engine speed. The system adjusts the engine speed downward through the desired engine speed parameters. The system will only reduce the engine speed to 1950 rpm. If engine speed is below 1950 rpm, the Power Train Torque Strategy will not affect the engine rpm.
