1. On machines equipped with the optional Autodig system, disconnect the Autodig hood light harness from electrical connector (1). 2. Remove hood strut mounting bolt (2) and the washer from the mount on the rear frame. 3. Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to engine hood (3), as shown.4. Remove four bolts (4) and the washers. Remove engine hood (3). The weight of the hood is 41 kg (90 lb).Installation Procedure

Install four bolts (4) and the washers that hold hood (3) to the crossbeam. 3. Install hood strut mounting bolt (2) and the washer on the mount on the rear frame. 4. On machines equipped with the optional Autodig system, connect the Autodig hood light harness to electrical connector (1).End By:a. Remove the steering frame lock pin.
