D - - After four spring pins are installed, make two stake marks at a distance (D) from each spring pin.
Distance of the pin hole from the bore is 2.25 0.75 mm (0.089 0.030 inch).
3 - - Before assembly, apply 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant to the flange surface of the housing and the gear.
4 30 095-0670 Bolt Torque to 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).
5 1 415-5557 Pipe As Torque to 125 15 N m (92 11 lb ft).
6 1 136-2904 Bearing Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize on the outer diameter and inner diameter of the bearing. Apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize to the mating parts of the bearing.
7 1 227-6221 Breather As Before assembly, apply sealant to the threads.
Torque to 45.0 4.5 N m (33.2 3.3 lb ft).
8 1 184-2421 Connector As Before assembly, apply sealant to the threads.
Torque to 60 6 N m (44 4 lb ft).
9 1 136-2940 Bearing Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize on the outer diameter and inner diameter of the bearing. Apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize to the mating parts of the bearing.
10 2 135-9044 Lip Type Seal Lubricate the sealing lip of the two lip type seals with the lubricant that is being sealed. Lubricate the circumference of the two lip type seals with clean grease when the lip type seal is installed in the cage.
