Note: Put identification marks on all hose assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and ports. This action helps to prevent fluid loss, and this action helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Install Tooling (A) onto the hydraulic tank . Attach an air supply hose onto Tooling (A). Apply 138 kPa (20 psi) of air. This procedure will pull a vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), and (8) from the swivel assembly.

Remove bolts (9). Remove bottom guards (10).

Disconnect all hose assemblies (11), (12) and (13) from the bottom side of the swivel.

Remove fittings (14) from the swivel assembly.

Fasten a suitable lifting device to swivel assembly (15). The weight of swivel assembly (15) is approximately 28 kg (62 lb).

Remove bolts (16) and remove swivel assembly (15). Installation Procedure

B - Loctite 242 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before installation, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.
Be sure that the mating surface of the undercarriage frame and the swivel are thoroughly clean.

Fasten a suitable lifting device to swivel assembly (15). The weight of swivel assembly (15) is 28 kg (62 lb).

Apply Tooling (B) onto the threads of bolts (16). Install bolts (16) and the washers that hold swivel assembly (15) to the undercarriage frame.

Install the O-ring seals and fittings (14) in the bottom side of the swivel assembly.
Install fittings (14).

Connect hose assemblies (11), (12), and (13).
