Creeper speed control button located on the soft panel switch
Push down on the creeper speed control button in order to activate the creeper speed control.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when the creeper speed control is activated.

Automatic Engine Speed Control (AESC) as displayed on the programmable function key in the monitor.
Disable the automatic engine speed control through the monitor by pressing the programmable button.

Joystick (front switch)
Disable the hydraulic modulation control, if equipped. Press the front switch on the right joystick in order to deactivate hydraulic modulation.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test.

If hydraulic modulation solenoid (4) is installed, the hydraulic modulation solenoid must be deactivated in order to test the margin pressure. If the hydraulic modulation solenoid is installed, proceed with the Step 28. If the hydraulic modulation solenoid is not installed, proceed to the "Test Procedure"Note: Do not deactivate the hydraulic modulation solenoid by disconnecting.
Start Electronic Technician.
Select the "Machine ECM" from the list of available controls.
Select the "Diagnostics/Override Parameters" menu.

Adjust the current value for "Travel Pilot Solenoid Current Override" (5) to the current value that is shown in Table 2.Test Procedure
Release the service brake pedal.
Depress the travel speed pedal fully in the FORWARD position.
Check the margin pressure on the pressure gauges while the travel pedal is fully depressed.Note: Margin pressure is the difference between main pump pressure tap (1) and load sensing signal pressure tap (2) .Note: Refer to Table 3 in this manual for the correct pressure.
If margin pressure is not within the specification, perform the following "Adjustment Procedure" procedure to adjust the load sensing spool.Adjustment Procedure
Remove the cap and loosen the locknut on the adjustment screw for load sensing valve (3) .
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise on load sensing valve (3) in order to increase the margin pressure. Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise on load sensing valve (3) in order to decrease the margin pressure.Note: Turn the load sensing screw by a 1/8 turn in order to change the margin pressure by approximately 200 kPa (29 psi).Note: Always make the final pressure adjustments on the pressure rise.
Verify that the margin pressure is within specifications.Note: Refer to Table 3 for the correct pressure.
Repeat the "Test Procedure" and "Adjustment Procedure", as needed.
Tighten the locknut.
Install the cap.Note: If the cap was damaged during removal, replace the cap with a new orange cap.Worksheet
