Use the following procedure in order to install the new plugs:

Sheet metal and fire wall
Remove the sheet metal and fire wall around the main pump. Refer to Illustration 1.
Loosen the main pump installation bolts on the pump flange.
Remove the main pump from the engine, for a distance of 20 to 30 mm (0.8 to 1.2 inch) and maintain the gap.

(2) Pump flange
Install two plugs (1) with the brim of the plug facing toward flywheel housing. Refer to Illustration 2.

Assemble the main pump with flywheel housing.

(4) Flywheel housing
Install one plug (3) into the hole between the flywheel housing and the main pump flange. To hook the brim of the plug in the flywheel housing, install the plug with the chamfer corner of the plug facing toward flywheel housing.
