Remove bearing cup (15) from the output transfer gear housing.

Use a suitable lifting device to reposition the output transfer gear assembly (3) into the upright position. The weight of output transfer gear assembly (3) is approximately 300 kg (661 lb).
Remove nuts (16) and bearing cage assembly (17).Note: If necessary, use two forcing bolts to remove bearing cage assembly (17) from output transfer gear assembly (3).

Remove spacer (18) and inner bearing (19).

Remove lip seal (20), bearing race (21), and O-ring seal (22) from bearing cage assembly (17).

Remove bolt (23), yoke retainer (24), and O-ring seal (25) (not shown).
Remove yoke assembly (26) from the output shaft.

Remove bolts (27) and bearing retainer (28).

Remove lip seal (29) from bearing retainer (28).

Use a suitable lifting device to hold output transfer gear (30) in position.
Use a suitable soft faced hammer to push output shaft (31) from output transfer gear (30).
Remove output shaft (31) and bearing cage (32) from the output transfer gear assembly.Note: If necessary, use Tooling (C) to remove bearing cage (32) from the output transfer gear assembly.
Remove output transfer gear (30).

Use a suitable press to push output shaft (31) from bearing cage (32).
Remove O-ring seal (33) from bearing cage (32). Remove the O-ring seal from the opposite side of bearing cage (32).

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to remove bearing cones and bearing cups from bearing cage (32).

Remove bolts (34) and covers (35) from the output transfer gear assembly.

Remove gasket (36). Remove O-ring seal (38) from the cover.
Remove suction screen (37).

Separate suction screen (37) from screen tube assembly (39).
Remove magnet assembly (40) from screen tube assembly (39).

Remove drain plug (42) from the output transfer gear assembly. Remove O-ring seal (41) from drain plug (42).
