Removal Procedure
Start By:
Release system pressure.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Remove cover (1) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (2) .
Remove bracket (3) and control manifold (4) as a unit.

Remove control manifold (4) from bracket (3) .

Remove check valves (5) and pressure reducing valve (6) .

Remove O-ring seals (7) and backup rings (8) from check valve (5) .

Remove O-ring seals (9) and backup rings (10) from pressure reducing valve (6) .Installation Procedure
Install control manifold (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten pressure reducing valve (6) to a torque of 31 3 N m (23 2 lb ft).
Tighten check valves (5) to a torque of 24 3 N m (212 27 lb in).
