(23) Line Relief ValveThe generator control valve (7) is installed on the side of the generator. The pilot line (19) at the bottom of the control valve provides a constant pilot pressure. If the operator activates the generator enable rocker switch (inside the cab), the generator ECM energizes the Generator Enable Solenoid (11). If the Generator Enable Solenoid (11) is energized, the pilot pressure activates the control spool. A constant oil flow is provided to the generator motor through the open control spool.Note: The activation of the Generator Enable Solenoid will occur only when the temperature of the hydraulic oil exceeds 15° C (59° F). The Generator Enable Solenoid will then energize and de-energize via a ramp function to provide a smooth starts/stops of the generator system. This action absorbs pressure spikes in the hydraulic system to prevent damage to the drive coupling of the generator.The LSVB Line (9) is connected to the LS AUX port of the main control valve. The PMP Line (10) is connected to the P AUX 1 port of the main control valve.Other components shown in these illustrations include the Adjustable Stroke Limiter (8), the priority valve (12), and the pressure compensator valve (16).Note: The motor speed is proportional to the flow supplied to the motor. Turn the Adjustable Stroke Limiter (8) counterclockwise to increase the flow to the generator motor. Turn the Adjustable Stroke Limiter clockwise to decrease motor speed.

(16) Pressure Compensator ValveThe generator motor (13) is a fixed-displacement piston motor. High-pressure oil flows from the generator valve through the Motor Inlet (14) on the motor. Return oil flows back to the generator control valve through the Motor Outlet (15) on the motor.
