Removal Procedure
Install cab prop pin before working under raised cab to prevent it from falling which could result in injury or death.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Relieve the pressure in the braking system. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR5129, "Machine Preparation for Troubleshooting".
Tilt the Cab. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cab - Tilt".
Put identification marks on all lines, hoses, wires and tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses and tubes. This helps prevent fluid loss and contamination of the hydraulic system.

Disconnect harness assembly (1). Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and (3) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (4), (5), (6), (7), and (8) .

Remove bolts (9). Remove the check and pressure reducing valve (10) .
