Installation Procedure
Note: The installation procedure is identical for both of the pilot control valves. The procedure which follows shows the installation of the pilot control valve that controls the swing and the stick functions.

Check the condition of all O-ring seals that are used in the ends of six hose assemblies (16). If the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Place pilot control valve (15) in position in the console. Install six hose assemblies (16) in the hose assembly's original location on pilot control valve (15). Tighten six hose assemblies (16) to a torque of 40 5 N m (20 4 lb ft).
Install three bolts (14) that hold the pilot control valve in the console.
Install plate (13) in the pilot control valve.

Install the two screws that hold switch assembly (12) in position.
Install cam (9) and the control lever assembly as a unit. Do not loosen nut (8) from cam (9). This will maintain the correct height of the cam from the valve stems in the pilot control valve.
Install rubber boot (7) .
Connect electrical connectors (11). Position cover (10) on the left console.

Position fuse holder (6) in the armrest for the left console. Install seven screws (5) .

Install cover (4) in the left console.

Position side cover (3) on the left console. Install two screws (2) .
Install the two screws that are located under cover (1). Install cover (1) on the left console.
