Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device to pipelayer frame (7). The weight of the pipelayer frame is approximately 680 kg (1500 lb). Position the pipelayer frame to the original location.

Install bolts (14) and the washers. Tighten bolts (14) to a torque of 1600 200 N m (1180 150 lb ft).

Install pin (13) and position plate (11) onto the pipelayer frame. Install bolts (12) and the washers.
Refer to Step 3 for the opposite side of the left side pipelayer frame.

Install pin (8) and position retainer (9). Install bolts (10) and the washers.

Connect harness assembly (6) and attach cable straps (5) .
Install sheave assembly (1), pin assembly (2), retainer (3), bolts (4), and the washers to the pipelayer frame.End By: Install the cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cable - Remove and Install".
