Open the engine access door on the right side of the machine.

Remove the oil supply tube (1) from the cylinder head.
Remove the fitting (2) from the governor housing and remove the seal (3) from the governor housing.
Use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to remove the governor screen (4) .
Wash the screen in solvent in order to remove any debris. Inspect the screen for damage. Inspect the seals for damage. Replace the screen and/or the seals, if necessary.
Install the screen far enough into the governor housing in order to allow clearance for the seals and for the fitting.
Install the seal, the fitting, and the oil supply tube.
