Disconnect hose assemblies (2), (4), (6), and (7). Disconnect harness assembly (1). Remove test port assembly (3). Remove bracket assembly (5) .

Disconnect harness assembly (8) and set aside.

Disconnect hose assembly (8) and harness assembly (10) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (11) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (22) and (23) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (14), (15), (16), (17), (18), (19), and (20). Position the hose assemblies out of the way.

Disconnect hose assemblies (21), (22), (23), (24), (25), (26), and (27). Position the hose assemblies out of the way.

Disconnect hose assemblies (28), (29), (30), (31), and (32). Position the hose assemblies out of the way.

Disconnect hose assemblies (33), (34), (35), (36), and (37). Position the hose assemblies out of the way.

Disconnect harness assembly (38). Cut the cable straps that secure harness assembly (38). Remove the clips that secure harness assembly (38) .
Disconnect hose assemblies (39) and (40). Remove the clips that secure hose assemblies (39) and (40) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to engine and torque converter (45). The weight of engine and torque converter (45) is approximately 3175 kg (7000 lb).

Disconnect hose assembly (46). Remove clip (47) and bolts (48) .

Remove bolts (49) .
Remove engine and torque converter (45) .Installation Procedure
Install engine and torque converter (23) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (61) to a torque of 620 80 N m (457 60 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (63) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).
