Start By:
Remove the governor and brake control. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Governor and Brake Control - Remove".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all harness assemblies, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Loosen bolts (1), (2), and (3) in order to remove pedals (4), (5), and (6) .Note: If necessary, use Tooling (A) in order to remove the pedals from the shafts.

Remove bolts (7) and pad assembly (8) .

Remove bolts (9) and sensor assemblies (10) .

Disconnect springs (11) .

Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining rings (12) and the washers.
Loosen bolt (14) and remove key (13) in order to remove shaft (15) from housing (16) .

Repeat Steps 5 and 6 for shaft assembly (17) .
Remove nuts (20) and (21) in order to remove linkage assemblies (18) and (19) .

Disconnect wire assemblies (24) and (25) .
Push grommet (29), wire assemblies (24), and wire assemblies (25) through housing (16) in order to remove harness assembly (30) .
Remove bolts (22) and bracket assembly (23) .
Remove spring (26) .
Remove bolts (28) and bracket assembly (27) .

Repeat Steps 5 and 6 in order to remove shaft assembly (33) and lever assembly (34) .
