Start By:
a. Prepare the machine for maintenance. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Prepare the Machine for Maintenance".

Open the access cover for the oil level sight gauge.The oil level can be checked with the engine running and the oil at operating temperature (hot) or with the engine off and the oil at ambient temperature (cold). Refer to the appropriate steps that follow.Engine Running and Oil at Operating Temperature (Hot)

Check the oil level in the upper sight gauge.
If the oil level is in the upper red range, drain oil from the tank to lower the oil level to the green range.
If the oil level is in the lower red range, add oil to the tank to raise the oil level to the green range.Engine Off and Oil at Ambient Temperature (Cold)

Check the oil level in the upper and lower sight gauges.
If the oil level is in the upper red range of the upper gauge, drain oil from the tank to lower the oil level to the green range.
If the oil level is in the lower red range of the lower gauge, add oil to the tank to raise the oil level to the green range.
