Start engine (1) .
Turn switch (2) for the grade/slope control ON.Note: Allow the system to warm-up for a minimum of 15 minutes before calibrating the system.

Place a level on the operator's platform. The level must be perpendicular to the direction of machine movement in order to measure the cross slope of the machine. Use the manual mode with the switches for manual elevation in order to level the machine.

Depress switch (3) for the mode scroll. Release the switch when "CALIBRT" is displayed on left readout (5). "MENU #1" will be flashing on right readout (6) .
Select the submode for the slope. Press and hold switch (4) until "SLOPE" is showing on right readout (6). Release switch (4). "CALSLOPE" will then be showing on left readout (5). "MENU #2" will be flashing on right readout (6) .
Press and hold the switch (7) until "CROSS 0" is showing on right readout (6). After switch (7) is released, "CALSLOPE" will be showing on left readout (5) and "CROSS 0" will be flashing on right readout (6). The flashing "CROSS 0" indicates that the system is now ready for zero cross slope calibration of the slope sensor.Note: CROSS 0 is the only option that is available for calibration of the slope.
Save the value. When the level indicates that the machine is level from one side to the other side, save the value. Press and hold switch (8). While the switch is held, observe the message on right readout (6). The right readout (6) will display a message that indicates if the new calibration value has been accepted. Release switch (8). The message on right readout (6) will be "CROSS 0" or "CALERR"."CROSS 0" - The ECM has stored the new "CROSS 0" value. The calibration of the slope sensor is now complete. Proceed to the next step."CALERR" - The ECM has NOT stored the new value. Repeat this procedure starting at 4. Ensure that the precision level indicates that the machine is level from one side to the other side.
The calibration of the valve offset is now finished. In order to change to a different submode for calibration, press and hold switch (4). In order to change to a different MODE, press and hold switch (3).
