Removal Procedure
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact the skin.Be sure that the engine and components are cool enough to touch with your bare hand prior to performing any service work.
Raise the hood
Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Remove the engine panels from the left-hand side of the engine. Note: Put orientation and location marks on all components for installation purposes.

Remove panel (1). Disconnect hose assembly (3). Remove tube assembly (2) and hose (4).

Loosen clamp (5) and remove clamp (12) in order to reposition tube (6) away from the second stage turbocharger.
Remove clamp (7) and clamp (14) in order to remove heat shield and elbow (13).
Disconnect hose (8) and tube (15).
Remove clamp (11) and clamp (9) in order to remove tube assembly (10).

Remove bolts (16) in order to disconnect tube assembly (17). Remove gasket (18) from second stage turbocharger (22).
Remove bolts (20) in order to disconnect tube assembly (21). Remove gasket (19) from second stage turbocharger (22).

Remove nuts (25), second stage turbocharger (22), and bracket (23). If necessary, remove studs (24) from the engine.

Remove nuts (26) and remove bracket (23). If necessary, remove studs (27).
