The machine will NOT start while the propulsion lever is in NEUTRAL position.
The machine will start while the propulsion lever is out of the NEUTRAL position.
Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.

Move propulsion lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.

Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.

Move throttle lever (3) to the LOW IDLE position. Low idle should be 1060 35 rpm.

Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.

Remove retaining ring (5), and lift rubber boot (6) .
Go to Step 8, if the machine does not start while propulsion lever (1) is in the NEUTRAL position. If the machine starts while the propulsion lever is out of the NEUTRAL position, go to Step 11.

Move propulsion lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position. Use Tool (A) to check for continuity across the front and rear pins of neutral start switch (7). If the reading on Tool (A) is approximately zero, go to Step 11. If the reading on Tool (A)
