Install two of bolts (8) in the two threaded holes that are in trunnion (9).
Tighten bolts (8) evenly to separate the trunnion from the rear axle housing. Remove trunnion (9).

Thoroughly clean all components and inspect the condition of the components. Replace all seals and any parts that are worn or damaged.

Install O-ring seal (10).

Attach a suitable lifting device to trunnion (9). The weight of trunnion (9) is approximately 105 kg (231 lb). Install trunnion (9).
Install bolts (8). Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 750 90 N m (553 66 lb ft).

Use a suitable lifting device to install rear trunnion support (7). The weight of rear trunnion support (7) is approximately 287 kg (633 lb). Install rear trunnion support (7).

Install thrust bearing (6).

Install Tooling (B) in the threaded holes. Install thrust plate (5) and bolts (3).

Remove Tooling (B) and install bolts (3).
Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 475 60 N m (350 44 lb ft).
Install thrust bearing (4).

Install Tooling (C) between mating surface of cover (2) the rear trunnion support.
Install Tooling (B) into the threaded holes. Use two people to install cover (2). The weight of cover (2) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Install cover (2).

Install bolts (1) and remove Tooling (B).

Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 475 60 N m (350 44 lb ft).
Fill the rear oscillating axle with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Capacities (Refill)".
End by:a. Install the (Oscillating Axle, Rear).
