Charge relief valve
(1) Passage from the flushing valve
(2) Poppet
(3) Passage to the motor bearings
(4) Spring
(5) Passage to motor case When the flushing spool is engaged charge oil flows through passage (1) to the charge relief valve. When the pressure against the surface of poppet (2) overcomes the force of spring (4), poppet (2) pushes the spring retainer against the force of spring (4). Oil flows past poppet (2) into the spring chamber. The oil flows from the spring chamber through passage (5) to the motor case.Oil also flows from the flushing valve through passage (3) to the motor bearings.
