Rework Procedure
Harness Rework Procedure:
1. Before beginning work on the machine, park the machine in a smooth, level area.
2. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the Safety Instructions.
Inspecting Harness Routing:
3. Remove dash (A) by loosening four screw truss heads (B). Refer to Image1.2.1 and 1.2.2.

4. Remove lower cover (C) by loosening ten screw truss heads (D). Refer to Image1.3.1.

5. Remove upper cover (E). Refer to Image1.4.1, for a view of the steering column.

6. Refer to Images1.5.1 and 1.5.2 in order to inspect the correct harness routing. If the harness is routed according to both images, the routing is correct, proceed to Step 15.
If the harness routing is not correct as shown in Image1.5.3, proceed to Step 7.

Removing Harness:
7. Disconnect all electrical plugs from front dash cluster. Refer to Image1.6.1 and 1.6.2.

8. Cut the straps. Refer to Image1.7.1.

9. Disconnect electrical plug. Refer to Image1.8.1.

10. Remove the harness. Refer to Image1.9.1.

11. Inspect and verify that the harness shows no damage.
Note: If the harness is damaged, refer to REHS7215, Special Instruction, "Repair Procedure for Damaged Harness Wiring", in order to complete this Rework Procedure.
Correcting Harness Routing:
12. Refer back to Image1.5.1 and 1.5.2 to correct the harness routing.
13. Attach the harness with 3S-2093 Cable Straps, as shown in the Image1.12.1 and 1.12.2.

14. Reconnect all electrical plugs.

15. Install upper cover (E). Refer to Image1.2.1.
16. Install lower cover (C) by tightening ten screw truss heads (D). Refer back to Image1.2.1.
17. Install dash (A) by tightening four screw truss heads (B). Refer back to Image1.2.1.
