Lower the blade to ground level. Operate the compactor in a straight line across the site.Move the transmission control to SECOND SPEED. If the engine slows down, move the transmission control to FIRST SPEED.When you reach the end of the site, move the transmission control to REVERSE. Straddle the path which was created by the previous pass and back up in a straight line.Raise the blade to approximately 50 cm (18 inches) above ground level in order to prevent material from being forced under the machine.While you move the compactor backward, move the blade control lever to the FLOAT position in order to help to level the site.
