Disconnect hose assembly (11) from the head end of the lift cylinder.

Position a suitable container under hose assemblies (12) , (13) , and (14) . Disconnect hose assemblies (12) , (13) , and (14) .

Remove bolt (15) , the washers, and the nut.

Apply Tooling (F) to the threads of Tooling (A) . Install Tooling (A) . Remove collet (16) .

Apply Tooling (F) to the threads of Tooling (A) . Install Tooling (A) . Remove collet (17) .Note: If the pin is free, the pin may be forced out of the bore by the forcing bolts at this time.

When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.
Note: Do NOT use non-hardened, threaded rods with Hydraulic Cylinders as Tooling.
