Introduction
Removal of 254-9136 Coiled Cable(s) from AccuGrade GPS Receiver when not in use.Problem
The 254-9136 Coiled Cable is used to connect the AccuGrade GPS Receivers to the machine harness. This cable may become damaged if left installed on the machine when the AccuGrade GPS Receivers have been removed. When the unsecured connector of the coiled cable is left connected to the fixed mast, the loose connector hits on the fixed mast as the machine is operated. The resulting damage to the connector is not covered under the standard warranty.Solution
Remove the 254-9136 Coiled Cable and store the cable whenever the AccuGrade GPS receiver is removed from the machine. This will prevent damage to the cables's connector. The storage case for the AccuGrade GPS receivers has a preexisting storage slot for the coiled cable.
