PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR NOISY DIFFERENTIALS, 950B Loaders, 3258, 3280 U-71 A-44.1 C-64 O-50 SEE OCTOBER 3, 1984 Problem There have been complaints of noisy differentials on the listed 950B Loaders. New pinion and bevel gears which run quieter are now used. Affected 950B Loaders And Parts Needed New Parts If Needed Serial Numbers Front and Rear 31R1-31R1315 2 - 4Y298 Gear and Pinion Assem. 22Z1-22Z773 2 - 9M2457 Cone 63R1-63R2885 2 - 2A4576 Cup 2 - 6V247 Cone 2 - 1B3931 Cup 2 - 3K1852 Seal Action Requested (No Parts Stock Action Needed) No action is needed unless the user has a justifiable complaint about excessive differential noise. In these cases, install all the listed parts. Do not interchange the individual bevel gear and pinion in the 4Y298 Gear and Pinion Assemblies. These are matched gears and should be used as a set. The matched gear and pinion have the same markings. Warranty Allowances (SEE ILLUSTRATION) Parts Disposition Dispose of the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on handling of warranty parts. Termination Date September 30, 1985.
