Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Open door assembly (1).

Remove bolts (2).

Loosen bolts (5), remove bolts (4), and remove panel assembly (3).

Cut the cable strap and disconnect harness assembly (6).
Remove bolt (7) and reposition the hoses out of the way.

Lower frame has been made transparent for clarity.
Remove bolts (9) and reposition bracket assembly (8) out of the way.

Remove bolt (11) and reposition the hose out of the way.
Remove tube assemblies (10).

Disconnect hose assembly (13) and tube assembly (15).
Remove two bolts (14) and piston pump (12).

Remove locknut (16), the washer, and integral seal (17).

Use Tooling (A) to remove idler gear (18).Installation Procedure
Install piston pump (12) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten locknut (16) to a torque of 115 20 N m (85 15 lb ft).
Tighten two bolts (14) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
