Start By:
Remove the bucket linkage.
Remove the bucket cylinder.

Fully extend the extendable stick and place the stick on Tooling (A) .
Release the pressure in the hydraulic oil system.

Remove bolts (1) that retain bracket (2) .

Remove bolts (5). Place bracket (4) and hose assemblies (3) onto the boom.

Remove bolts (7) and cover (6) .

Place suitable cribbing (9) under the rod end of extendable stick cylinder (8) .
Remove pin (10). Remove suitable cribbing (9) that was installed in the previous step. Fully retract the extendable stick cylinder.

Install pin (11) that held the head end of the bucket cylinder. Use Tooling (D) in order to install retaining ring (12) that holds pin (11) into position. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to extendable stick (14). The weight of extendable stick (14) is approximately 235 kg (520 lb). Loosen bolts (13) in order to loosen the wear pads. Remove bolts (17) and (18). Remove block assembly (16) and pad assembly (15) (not shown).

Remove bolts (19) from the top of the extendable stick.

Remove extendable stick (14). Pad (20) will remain with the stick.

Remove bearings (21). Use Tooling (C) in order to remove bearings (22) .Installation Procedure
Install expandable stick (14) in the reverse order of removal.
Lower the temperature of bearings (21) and (22). Use Tooling (E) in order to install bearings (21) and (22) .
Adjust the extendable stick pads. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Extendable Stick Pads - Inspect/Adjust".
