Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the bulldozer push arm from the trunnion. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bulldozer Blade - Remove".
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Attach a suitable lifting device to trunnion (1). Remove bolts (2) that hold the trunnion to the roller frame.
Remove trunnion (1) from the roller frame. The weight of trunnion (1) is approximately 57 kg (125 lb).Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device to install trunnion (1). The weight of trunnion (1) is approximately 57 kg (125 lb). Install bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 530 70 N m (391 52 lb ft).End By: Install the bulldozer push arm to the trunnion. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bulldozer Blade- Install".
