PTO Displacement
A pair of outputs is used for the PTO devices that require a current control such as a variable displacement pump. The outputs have the ability to drive up to 2 amps. The PTO Displacement is enabled by the PTO Enable switch. The current is controlled by a set of inputs that increase or decrease the current that is being driven. The outputs must be installed in Cat ET in order activate them. Activate the following parameters in Cat ET:
PTO #1 Attachment Pump Solenoid Installation
PTO #2 Attachment Pump Solenoid InstallationBackup Alarm Driver Output Function
The backup alarm is used in order to alert any personnel that is near the vehicle that the vehicle is in the Reverse range. When the operator selects Reverse the ECU activates the relay for the backup alarm which causes the alarm to sound. The feature can be used in order to disable vehicle systems, such as steerable lift axles when the transmission is in Reverse. Similarly, the feature can be used in order to enable backup alarms or lights. This feature is not standard, but it is recommended. The operation of the backup alarm is only configurable for the secondary shifter. The backup alarm is enabled for the primary shifter by default.Note: The driver has the ability to drive up to 2 amps.Warm-Up Mode
This feature can be activated by using the warm-up switch. The feature is active when the switch is closed and the feature is inactive when the switch is open. The warm-up mode is activated when the transmission is in neutral and the vehicle is stationary. The feature increases the idle speed of the engine and provides the ability to lock the input and the output of the transmission in order to decrease the amount of time that is required to warm the system. The warm-up mode is disabled once the transmission measures the temperature of the oil to be above the normal operation range. The warm-up mode can be exited at any time. The status of the warm-up mode is indicated by an LED that is located on the shifters. The LED will flash when the transmission is attempting to enter the warm-up mode but cannot due to conditions not being met such as high temperatures. The LED is solid ON when the warm-up mode is active.Output Speed Limit
The output speed limit sets a maximum transmission output speed for stationary modes of operation. The output speed limit is not enforced during the road mode. The transmission will limit the engine speed so that the programmed transmission output speed is not exceeded. If you do not want to limit the output speed you must set the value to an unreachable value. The default value for the output speed limit is 4500 rpm.Service Brake Operation
The service brake operation is a function to read a switch input or brake switch over the data link. The engine control may already have a brake switch input for cruise control, so the transmission control can use the
