To avoid possible personal injury due to unexpected machine movement, make sure both operator consoles have the power switch in the STOP position, the park brake switch in the ON position, and the speed selection control at the slowest setting before changing the position of the console selection switch.
A power switch is located on both operator consoles.Move the switch to GO (1) to activate the machine ground drive, conveyor drives and screed vibrator drive.Move the switch to STOP (2) to deactivate the machine ground drive, conveyor drives and screed vibrator drive. If the power switch is moved to the STOP position, to stop the machine, and then moved to the GO position, all four drive systems will resume operation at the speed set with the normal controls.The engine cannot be started unless both power switches (one on each operator's console) are at the STOP position.Speed Selection Control

Motor Speed Selection Switch

A steering wheel is located on both operator consoles.The directional steering of the machine is controlled by the steering wheel. The direction the steering wheel is turned, is the direction that the machine will turn. Left Turn - Move the steering wheel in a counterclockwise direction to steer the machine to the left. The further the steering wheel is turned in a counterclockwise direction, the sharper the left turn. Right Turn - Move the steering wheel in a clockwise direction to steer the machine to the right. The further the steering wheel is turned in a clockwise direction, the sharper the right turn. Steering may be controlled by either steering wheel regardless of which position the console selection switch is in.Transmission Speed Selection Lever
A transmission speed selection lever is located to the inside of both operator consoles.Move the lever forward to TRAVEL (1) for a faster travel speed range.Move the lever rearward to PAVE (2) for a slower travel speed range. This lever must be used with speed selection control (3) to establish a travel or pave speed.
