1 1 212-9580 Water Separator and Fuel Filter Gp Before assembly, Lubricate seal lightly with the fluid being sealed.
Tighten until water separator and fuel filter group properly seats in to fuel priming pump group. Add 1/2 an additional turn.
2 1 343-5527 Bowl Use the following procedure to assemble the bowl:
1. Remove the cap from the bottom of the filter assembly.
2. Remove the seal from the bottom of the cap. Discard the cap.
3. Lubricate the seal with clean engine oil.
4. Install the seal onto the groove of the bowl assembly.
5. Install the bowl assembly onto the threads at the bottom of the filter assembly.
6. Tighten the bowl assembly to 10 N m (7 lb ft).
